I think 2016 depends on the next 2 years

You might want to rethink that. The number of Hispanic voters who chose not to vote in the presidential election increased by 2.3 million in 2012 from 2008. Democrats are losing them. They won't vote R; they just won't vote.

Ted Cruz is hispanic -- let's hope he wins the hispanic vote. Not all hispanics are for open borders and unlimited immigration and having illegals pour in and be hired over unemployed Americans. Granted, most hispanics are racist and believe that but not all.

Cesar Chavez himself was not for illegal immigration and open borders. There actually are some hispanics who care about the USA and Americans and even think Americans be employed before we bring in the unemployed of every hispanic nation.

And we can all admit that Obama flat out lied when he first ran and suggested illegals go to the back of the line, that he wasn't going to move them to the front of the line ahead of those coming legally and when he suggested that only those who had bothered to learn English would be allowed to apply for legal status. Why did he bold face lie like this if all Americans support unlimited and unrestricted immigration?

Now Obama wants everyone who wants to be here given legal status and have no one stopped at the border. What a liar -- but why did he first imply he believed something else?

Maybe because Obama himself knows that most Americans don't want illegals being put to the front of the line as he now intends to do and that the lazy who will never learn English are to get in on his amnesty.

Yeah, well... as I just posted, Obama's flip on that was a slap in the face to the Hispanics who did follow the rules and are here legally. That's why the Hispanic vote is dropping. They know Obama screwed them. Like I said... they won't vote R; they just won't vote.

I would love for Ted Cruz to be the GOP nominee.

I doubt it will have much affect on 2016. Where the Senate races are taking place in 2016 will greatly improve Democrats chances of retaking the Senate or expanding their majority. Hillary will have a united Democratic Party behind her and she will keep Obama's coalition together and expand it with more women and white voters. That will put more House seats in play. This is why you see the GOP operatives already trying to knee cap her now. They're scared.

If the GOP wins the senate in 2014
If they force Obama to veto budget after budget
The GOP will have a chance to keep congress

If GOP nominates a candidate that will go after her on her weak spots the they have a chance

So if the GOP wins the Senate and continues to make DC even more dysfunctional, that somehow means the general public will want the GOP to control all of DC?

I actually would get a kick out of seeing the Senate go Republican and then Democrats can obstruct every GOP initiative and then run in 2016 on the Senate not getting anything done since the GOP took control.
