There are perfectly good laws to deal with this very situation already on the books. Obama and eric holder don't like President Reagan's compromise, when he signed the 1986 immigration act. They along with the last 3 presidents have refused to abide by the law.

ITA! Why are we using resources on people who ignore our laws when we have too many of our own people without homes and food? Why do illegal aliens count more than our own children?

Vets should not have to rely on hand outs. If our government can take care of illegal aliens, they can take care of those who fought for our freedom. Don't they deserve at least what people who ignore our laws and come here illegally get?

"There are numerous steps the president can and should be taking right now, without the need for congressional action, to secure our borders and ensure these children are returned swiftly and safely to their countries," read the statement."

So they sued the president for taking action and now they want him to take more executive action. You just can't make this up. Someone throw Boehner's weak a** out. The Tea Party run the house.

House GOP abandons their own border bill

If you don't have the votes, you don't have the votes.
How can A Senator, really tell an elected representative how to vote.
I'm sure they were getting socked with e-mails and calls.

There is something REALLY REALLY WRONG here.

We are rewarding people for BREAKING THE LAW. That's what coming here illegally is. BREAKING THE LAW. While I do think we need to make it easier to come here illegally there is only one thing we should be giving illegals and that is a one way ticket back to where they came from. There is a reason we have an immigration process and bypassing it should not be rewarded.

I am disgusted with the government's handling of this crisis.
Why is everyone's nose out of joint about "flat screen TVs"?
Have you gone outside lately? Do you that's the only kind?

Who cares if I'm willing?

I wasn't willing to foot the bill to rebuild Iraq either, but who asked me?

I often drive through Karnes City - it's a boom town in the Texas Eagle Ford oil area. Housing is at a premium, they are building like crazy. A lot of workers are living in RV's all over town on any vacant property.

Where does Team Obama think they are going to get the money for these facilities? Congress is NOT going to fund this stuff. Polls show that between 65-70% disagree with the way that Obama is handling the Immigration Flood.

They are now sending them to Hawaii? They have totally lost their minds.

They do it all the time. Pork written into a bill to bribe another senator. S.744 certainly had some pork added to buy votes.
Threats against upcoming vote on another Reps bill.
Arm twisting and bribes are a common tactic in DC.
You screw the tax payer for me and I'll screw them for you.

Yeah well, the oil boom will be over soon enough and Karnes City will go back to being the dump it was before the boom (and kinda still is).

Then there will be plenty of housing after everyone leaves town.
