This is a great opportunity for Israel to rain death and destruction upon Arab terrorists in Gaza while their fellow Muslim brothers are busy with other chaotic wars in the Middle East.
Israel has a wonderful chance to bring lots of destruction to Gaza, to make these dogs suffer, to improve Israel's security, and to make them stop their aggression against peaceful Israelis.
From what I can tell, Hamas starts these attacks to drum up financial support, which gives Israel more than enough excuse to run air raids against them 24/7 until the rocket attack stop. You would think that Hamas could come up with a better way to fund raise...

Israel is not looking for a reason to run air raids on Gaza. The air strikes are in response to Hamas rocket fire on Israel's civilian population which can't live a normal life under these conditions.
Aggressor? There's nothing like sitting and waiting for your country to be invaded on three fronts by foreign armies, infiltrated by suicide bombers, and/or being target practice from missiles fired from adjacent hostile territory.
Hamas are terrorists and Israel has very right to deal with them the way the US deals with Al Qaeda.
I agree. I support Israels right to defend themselves. There are compromises on both sides but Hamas refuses to deal in anything but thier demands and absolutes. Shell them back to the stone age as far as I am concerned. Besides, a client of ours went back to Palestine to live and left owing us $1,300 for work performed. Jerk.
I don't deny Hamas is a very bad group of people; but at the same time, look at those casualty numbers. Half of the people Israel has killed were civilians. Israel has done some wrong things too, like revenge killings by Mossad commandos, but their neighbors have wanted them dead since 1948 or so.
Hmmm. Seems to me that Hamas fired rockets into Israel first. Is that not a war crime? Or even less than that, an ACT of war?
'The Israeli military has begun a ground offensive against Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip, stepping up its 10-day-old military operation.
Gaza's health ministry says 247 Palestinians have died since since the Israeli operation began on 8 July. It says more than three quarters of them were civilians.
One Israeli has died as a result of rocket fire from Gaza and several have been injured."
"Israel has hit more than 1,000 targets in the densely populated Gaza Strip, in attacks it says target Hamas military infrastructure. Civilian buildings have been hit.
Hundreds of rockets have also been launched from Gaza into Israel.
Some rockets have reached Tel Aviv, but Israel's Iron Dome defence system intercepted most of them."
