Obamas set new record for vacation travel expenses; stonewalled documents finally released - BizPac Review

He's set the record with 2 1/2 years to go.

Last year, the Obamas toured Africa at a cost of over $100 million for taxpayers, while defending the vacation as official business.

ONE TRIP $100 MILLION

How Much has Obama
Your first headline is lie--the article says Obama spent $45 million on travel expenses, that includes non-vacation trips. Bush took three fewer international flights than Obama to that point in his presidency, and they don't fall under vacation days.

Bush spent 33% of his failed presidency on vacation. I shudder to think of the costs.

Btw, $60-$100 estimate was based on the cost of prior trips to Africa. And how many trips did George and Laura Bush make to that beleaguered region? SEVEN.

Throwing out the accusation of racism is not going to work this time. And "catch and release" at the border does not qualify as deportation.

This is a man who will have allowed the debt to climb to more than $20T in just eight years, so why should we be surprised when he tries to melt his White House AMEX?

Except that my second link shows that Obama set the record for trip costs. Again, you shudder to think how much GWB's trips to Texas cost, while ignoring Obama's Hawaii and Martha's Vineyard habit. Then, you explain that the Africa trip figures were all wrong.

Oops, you dropped your pompoms.

That's supposed to be a bad thing? I thought you right-wingers were all about that "War on Turrer"?

Afghanistan--another failed misadventure by Bush the Failure. Keep deflecting blame from your conservative heroes. It's amusing.

Steven_h was only being kind and posting links to a topic that is being discussed. The gentleman who currently occupies the "big chair" has accelerated the process of going to hell in a handbasket. That was the point of his post.

Sorry, I guess you are just pi$$ed off at the world. You made a stupid comment (Did Bush steal your girl friend ) because you misread my post. Then you do a 180° and lashed out at me as if my posts could change anything at the border.

C'mon man!

I'd take 2001-2008 back in a heartbeat! Life was way better for the self employed.
That "gas" ended the Iraq War, reformed healthcare in this country, and dropped the U3 rate from 7.8%(and plummeting) to the current 6.1%.

Right-wingers complaining about the crisis at the border conveniently forget that Obama has deported more undocumented workers than Bush, on pace to better W's total in just 6 years.
