Very interesting...I'll be the first to admit that income level has a lot to do with crime, drugs, poverty, etc. There are "bad eggs" in every race, but I have to admit that I also agree with what Bill Cosby stated...we MUST be accountable for our actions...that goes for Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc. If there are any African Americans who have issues with this generation of Whites, would you please tell me what makes you feel that way? Or if you know someone who does...any insight?
WINNiek;
Just how would you go about proving what is in your own "Sub-conscious",
Much less some one other than you??
How do you know that your suspicions of "Racism" are not your own conscious/subconscious thoughts projected onto others...That because "YOU" believe what you believe, you think others share your same motives?

Hi cil,
You are baiting me aren't you...lol
I wouldn't open that can of worms in a public forum.
Best Wishes,
DLS
heh
Who baited who?
Actually, I really am curious to know just which culture you are referring to, DLS.
You yourself made the statement below, in bold font, in a public forum: Like Drive-bys, Slinging Dope, Criminal behaviour, and un-wed mothers and poverty??
So you must have an opinion on *which* culture such qualities are to be found.
If you do not choose to answer my question, perhaps we can give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you realize that gun violence, dope dealing, criminal behavior and un-wed mothers (and fathers!) occur across a broad spectrum of humanity.
And the last I checked, it was neither criminal nor a character flaw to be poor.
or we're all related to the Leakey's Lucy. Just putting in a plug for East Africa, a place I like!
What is your deal with east Africa??
Did you visit there on vacation or something? Did you also visit the areas OTHER than where your tour guide took you? You will never convince me that the continent of Africa in general is a place to visit. You may be fooled, (of fooling yourself) Im not.
