"Blue states" aren't paying for it, the 1% who lives in blue states are paying for it. Where are the headquarters of most giant, greedy corporations located? In blue states. Blue states also have by far the highest number of millionaires and billionaires. They live there since cities in blue states are the industrial, corporate and financial centers of the nation.
Thats a very important point, and many times these businesses are located in "tax free zones", or areas that are setup by government in order to entice businesses that have been chased away by high taxes in the area..
I see NY is now advertising they will give businesses ten years of no taxes, if they relocate to the area...
The reason of course is they need money bad, but according to the OP, needing cash means you are rich.. um yeah, ok.. if they say so

Anyone with a brain would take Alabama beaches over the Jersey Shore any day... that doesn't even take into account the trashy Jersey people you have to put up with in Jersey either.
