Maybe the guards should all be female?
Maybe the guards should all be TSA agents. Take your shoes off, before entering.

Maybe there shouldn't be a women in the Secret Service if she isn't able to deal with the brute force of an intruder, I'll grant that.

But that said, the guy made it past a number of men, and it's becoming clear that there is a collective structural failure here that likely extends throughout the leadership and culture of the entire Secret Service. It was clear when some of those agents got busted for screwing prostitutes down in Latin/South America, and it was clear when they let in those Salehi freeloaders when they were not on the party list. It was clear when it took them five days to find out last time that someone had fired bullets into and around the White House in 2011. In this case, apparently the alarm by where the guy entered was purposefully muted "at request from the usher's office," which is just crazy. And on top of it, it's now clear that the Secret Service lied since they said at first that the guy only made it to the front door.

It's no secret that there are a lot of people out there who hate America. I think it's become clear for them that they should feel emboldened to attack the White House because the security is demonstrably crappy.

Instead of defending these corrupt and complacent people as he has up until now, Obama should take this seriously and demand some changes. He should fire the director of the agency and bring someone in from outside the organization to reform it. It's only his life and the life of his family that is at stake in this.

Obama should replace the SS personnel with h1b visa workers who have skills the SS don't have.

The SS needs to be cleaned up top to bottom. There's just no excuse for the failures we have seen over the past several years. Sounds like the damn "mall cops" instead of an elite agency.

Default Another cover up by the regime. .

Crazy individual made it 80 ft into the White House. Congress wasn't fully informed.

Why can't this regime get it's act together?

The head of the US Secret Service is a woman, and obviously doing a very poor job. To allow this kind of breach into the WH is nothing short of astounding.

Pierson is incompetent, like all Obama's appointees which were picked because of gender, race, or sexual orientation and not competency for the job.

That's about it. I hear next up for attorney general is a gay. I wouldn't be surprised if the male officer the intruder breezed by with his gun drawn is a diversity hire.

When pressed to explain how the intruder got so far into the Whitehouse unchallenged, the Secret Service shrugged and said they're still trying to figure out how Obama got in.
