I agree, but also "training"(if a person doesn't have "it" to begin with, training isn't much help),electronic surv and many other factors now make it to where the WH should be as secure as Fort Knox.

This has been a kind of lackadaisical crew this round for sure.

The East room and the Residence are on 2 different sides of the White House and there are like 5 Security check points in between. The attacker would have had to beat up like 20 Secret service members and about 12 Marines to get into the residence.
Ah...but what if...20 armed people stormed the White House? That could have been a disaster...
This president can not protect the whitehouse nd his family why do we think he has any interest in protecting the borders. For his families sake I hope he hs a concealed permit
I'll defend Obama on this one....this has nothing to do with anything political.
Who knows how relaxed this security has been...it probably extends decades.
In defense of the SS...if they would have shot the intruder....there's a chance that the shooter would have been arrested...or there would have been a public outcry for the arrest for the SS agent because the intruder was an "unarmed, and had his hands up"....I'm just sayin'
Sure it does as in the past in private sector those failures by employees would have had heads roll. Not so in the politically controlled public sector. Just looking at SS its been a pretty long stream of problems. When is the last time you saw a public sector leaders tell congress :I fired those responsible?
Did you really just try to argue grammar over substance ??????????
Also, CBS is sensationalizing a story. Its very easy to google a layout and even pictures of the white house...as i did in that very post.
So they are lying about the fact that he ran past the stairs to the living quarters?
