Employers are having the hardest time finding workers and everywhere I go there are help wanted signs. Jobs are everywhere. Then why is there so many people out there who say there are no jobs out there with the labor shortages?

They had that problem here, until the hamburger places hiring, placed a sign stating: starting at $12 per hour. That sign was removed the next day. They filled the position.

Everyone has a price and the illegal alien price, isn't going to get an American to bite.

It is because the profit in not working is greater than the profit from labor.

You have that right. In many states especially CA and the northeast, you make more off govt bennies than working an 8 hour job.

More and more Americans are refusing to work for crap wages. Companies that actually pay their workers a decent wage get their pick of the quality applicants.

I laugh when I drive by a local temp hiring place and they advertise factory line work positions for like $11/hr. That's barely more than I made working in a factory back in '99, when I was still in college.

??? Please elaborate; specifically, what is the profit in not working for an able-bodied, childless, non-senior adult?
