Thats what the wealth hoarders are banking on. This forum proves they have strong support.

The wealth they rake in is unprecedented, and someday we all will be forced to take action to act to start finding alternatives. We are all frogs in a pot of simmering water.
i might agree with you, except for one thing, when asked what should be done to combat climate change, the alarmists ALWAYS start with more regulations, and instituting a "carbon tax". they also like the idea of trading carbon credits as well. so your premise that its paranoia of higher taxes and bigger government is wrong. in fact its reality. sorry but this posts is loaded with failure.

They want people who can account for sea level rise and shifting habitats. This is something he says both non-profits and industry feel is a vital skill.

We're arguing about it, but they're planning for it.
Good point. And where do you think the oil companies are investing all their record profits?

You guessed it!!!!

Just like there is money to be made in creating an emergency, there is even MORE money to be made in denying it for now.

No sense in having this debate with people who have no scientific acumen.

Don't bull**** me on Milankovitch Cycles. Global warming trends are not mirroring them, currently (the variance is higher than it is supposed to be).

This poll will just prove we have a lot of ignorance on C-D.

really? it has been noted many times that this interglacial period is cooler than the previous ones, so what does that tell you?

Really? A recent UN poll which received over 5 millions votes asked people to rate their top 6 priorities and "Action taken on climate change" came in dead last.

How does that mean climate change isn't a problem?

First, a poll has nothing to do with science. Most people are idiots.
Second, climate change is a long term problem. Humans naturally prefer short-term issues over long term-issues.
Third, most people are idiots.

In other words, whomever disagrees with your worldview is considered an idiot.

Case in point.... Providing a link about people's opinions as means to show the importance of climate change action.
