They have all admitted the pause in net global surface temps which has lasted for about 17 yeas now. They have not denied the pause, but they are trying to do is come up with an explanation for why it is occurring, but they do not deny that the pause is occurring.

sanspeur is obstinate because the warming pause does not fit his viewpoint that man is killing the planet though CO2 emissions. he is going to be in a bad way if the planet decides its time for a glaciation period, and he has to constantly dig out from five feet of global warming to go to work each day.

The bottom line is there is a disturbing push by our gov't (using taxpayer money) to promote the idea that global warming is occurring. If you go against this (or can't prove GW), no money for you. This is what causes the corruption, the inaccurate aging weather stations to purposely remain this way, the manipulating of temp data, plus any other factor causing higher temp readings that may be unknown to the public, etc etc.
I know, I know, conspiracy theories blah blah blah....no, it's common sense.
They aren't 'advocating' for global warming or 'promoting the idea' that global warming is occurring. They are expressing the evidence-based fact that global warming IS happening and it's mostly caused by human activities.
A tabloid press opinion piece misrepresenting NASA/NOAA and the Met Office is NOT the Met Office or NASA /NOAA as you claimed.
That you believe everything you read in the tabloid press and regurgitate it without checking the facts, shows that you have no interest in the facts.

Science, as in NASA, NOOA, MET etc... has shown us actual observations of the planet's global surface temperature which prove it has not seen a net gain for about 19 years, and yet you point to a warm summer here, or a warm day there.
BTW, those same scientists said there is a 40% chance they are wrong about 2014 being the warmest year.

There has definitely been a net gain in global surface temperature over the past 19 years, and no, scientists did NOT say there is 40% chance they are wrong about 2014 being the warmest year. Clearly whoever you are getting this nonsense from does not have a clue or is deliberately misrepresenting the facts.
Actually NOOA agrees with him/her completely. It has been NOOA who has stated there has been a 17 year pause in global temperatures. "A warm summer here, a warm day there" is not the global climate, it's weather.
I don't know who NOOA is, but NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) don't say that at all.
Just Google NASA PAUSE GLOBAL TEMPERATURE, and just do at least a modicum of research beore you stick your foot in your mouth.
How about you do a modicum of research on the NASA website, instead of repeating tabloid press and conspiracy blog claims misrepresenting NASA/NOAA.
