My question: wouldn't the emails she sent still be in the recipients computers?
For instance, I work for the government (really): if Ms. Clinton emailed me, on my government computer, wouldn't the government server (or whatever it is called) still retain said email?
I assume that it can be reasonably determined whom she was emailing on a regular basis, and so search those peoples computers. Likewise, she may have deleted emails received, but those emails may still be in existence on those sender's computers.
You would have to know the email address of every single recipient she emailed, for the non .gov email addresses, in order for this to be of use.
And then of course in order to search those individuals computers, you'd need a subpoena for every single one, after you took time to identify who exactly they belong to.
A subpoena for those individuals would be very hard to obtain considering they have a right to privacy and not accused of any wrongdoing.
And thats of course, assuming they werent deleted as well or backups existed.
Hillary Clinton, once again acting like the laws don't apply to her. Only someone that has something to hide engages in behavior like this. And there's no question that she's got something to hide. Yet, on cue, the Hill-billies™ will come to the defense of their poorly-aging, graying-toothed cuckquean, 100% committed to voting for Clinton just because she has a vagina.
There's very little difference between a truck stop toilet and politics in DC these days.

The House Investigative Committee has subpoenaed the emails of her assistants and any one else who had an email account on that server as well. So, we shall see.
In the IRS investigation, we were told that Louis Lerner's emails were gone for good, and that was accepted as factual, until someone went to look for them, at which time many if not all of them were found. Of course there are thousands of these emails, and we will not know what is in them until the final report is released.
In any case, expect that Trey Gowdy and his committee will follow a similar path in pursuit of Hillary Clinton's emails. You can be certain that no Republican in the House is taking her or her attorney's word for any of this.
She used her own personal server in her basement, to send e-mails, for four years and now it's wiped clean. All that time and no one hacked it and nothing leaked out to the public. Wow...who ever set that up for her they should have used to build the healthcare website.
Clinton tells House panel she has deleted all emails from server
And she expects the voters to forgive her and accept her after a display like this of ducking and dodging a fully legal request for access. Makes one wonder what she is hiding and where the information has been transferred to until such time as she desires it to come to light.
I don't think that's the case. Even Democrats wouldn't nominate someone that corrupt, incompetent and with such a record of failure and lying to the American people. Even most Dems care a little bit about integrity.

You think we can just call Algeria up and ask them to turn over all the e-mails from Clinton about their $500,000 donation to her foundation at the same time they were trying to get a closer relationship with the US?
While she was keeping her secret server and acting as head of the State Department, Clinton was also accepting bribes, er, I mean "donations" from foreign governments. No wonder she wanted to wipe the server.
