A friends of our daughters was passed over for admission to a university because she was white. This university automatically takes the top four people from every school in the state from which they get applications. This girl was number 4 in her class and a black girl was number 5. They jumped number 4 and took 5 so they could add diversity. They literally told her that is why she was turned down. Obviously, this black person worked hard as well to be number 5 in her class, so why couldn't they just take both?
Sorry but this doesn’t sound right. If the girl was really number 4, then they would have automatically taken her, as that is the policy. If she didn’t get in, there was likely something she did not do or did poorly. People should stop blaming black people for their shortcomings but guess that’s an American pastime. Abigail Fishers abound.
