I know a few folks who have (figuratively) dug up their distant Native American and hispanic ancestors to gain an edge in their government careers. Everyone just recognized them as ordinary white people until then. I don't know if its in "vogue" or not, but its allowed according to the rules that the government set up, I don't see anything unethical about it.

Well he at least had black hair. So he actually had a larger percentage of black gene in him than the Female Al Jolson from Spokane
