Funny how they act like getting shot in the leg is no big deal for a kid. This is why you never see whites in the news after police accidents. "Oh well, yeah, she got a bullet wound to the leg but she'll be fine, it was no biggie. I mean big enough to go to the hospital for but not that big of a deal. She'll be fine. After all the dog charged, and the officer was there at a good time and helped the other lady at the house despite shooting the child. So it all worked out in the end.

First of all you have no idea if she'll be fine or whether she'll have a limp for the rest of her life or nerve damage or any number of possible complications. Second, he could have killed the child or some other innocent. This is not a matter of "Alls well that ends well".
He shot at the dog of the woman who was asking for help, it wasn't some random dog. It WAS a biggie, what if he killed a family pet? You shouldn't have to worry if you need a cop that they're going to shoot your dog when they get there.

A hit and run, a woman bleeding from a cut, a charging dog and the day finally ends with a little kid receiving a bullet wound. That sounds like my neighborhood, never a dull moment.
