It has something to do with a constitutional right.
Don't like the constitution?
Repeal the amendment.
All you have to do is get 2/3 of both houses of congress to agree with you. And then get 3/4 of the state legislatures to agree with you. Good luck on your mission.

Everyone in every state must fill this form out when buying from a licensed firearm dealer. Its federal law.

To quote the vice president.....

"regarding the lack of prosecutions on lying on Form 4473s, we simply don’t have the time or manpower to prosecute everybody who lies on a form,"

In 2012 for example, there were 72,600 denials and the feds only persued 44 cases.

I just shared a Facebook share, by a gun lover, explaining why he, as a gun lover has to get more serious about helping to keep guns out of the wrong hands. One portion of that fairly long posting was what the questions were, that were on that form. Obscenely ridiculous, everyone would almost be required to lie on the form. We need lots more common sense, in figuring out what to do about guns.

This would be true, cause so many folks, pretty much has to lie with those ridiculous questions.

I don't want the amendment changed at all, only interpreted the way it was intended.
