Sorry, but no. These people are Republicans for a reason. They want someone to represent them, not another party. Its why I dont suggest voting Democrat. Libertarian is a great suggestion if they lean that way at all.

But generally people will vote for the party that represents their beliefs.

Course with virtually ALL of the Republicans voting for this, you might be right. Shrug.

The 3 who voted against this though? They may be keepers. Make note of them as well.

And yet, they cut the mental health budget, AGAIN! I think Obama wants mentally ill people to keep killing people so he can scream about gun control. It seems that every American who kills more than one person is mentally ill. With this new budget, states are going to have to cut a lot of people from receiving help. Go Obama! Words can't express how I feel about this man.

Apparently we have 2 Democratic Parties now or we were all sold out by the GOP.

This is beyond disgusting. I read they even made it harder to repeal Obamacare.

I wondered that as well, but checking some news stories the vote totals lined up. For example:
House passes tax bill - CNNPolitics.com

Discusses the same voting numbers. So I suspect the title of it doesnt match the contents.

Fun fact ...the bill is over 2,000 pages long, and they only had 48 hours to read and understand it.

Wow. Just..wow.

you do know Obama has nothing to do with setting the budget right? And that the Republicans have the majorities in the House and Senate that passed this. And that the majority of Democrats voted against it....right?

Your Obama Derangement Syndrome is showing.

You are a headline voter right. Why bother with the details, like spending bills originate in the House of Representatives, the move to the Senate. Which has not, yet. Yes, we really ought to consider limiting voting rights
