So shutting down the government was the only other alternative? They hold majorities in both houses. There was no way to offset some of the huge spending in this bill--you know, the way they always demand that the Democrats do?

Now we know why they are called political parties. No mater who you elect to congress IT'S PARTY TIME !!!!

We know why we are called tax payers. We pay for the party but aren't invited. I can't wait to celebrate congress automatic pay raise. Sorry all you stupid old people, like me, won't be getting a raise this year because the cost of living didn't go up at all. That is great news. Another celebration is in order. The party never stops here in the USA. No wonder people want to come here and destroy the place. They better hurry before we beat them to it.

Does anybody still wonder why the outsiders are leading in the Republican race?

Does anybody know if this bill has an attachment that quadruples the number of H-2B's? That is what I heard and it sounds natural that our government would push for it before another San Bernardino. But I don't know; just wondering?

Congress' spending binge: $700 billion in unpaid tax cuts - POLITICO

Lots of goodies in this bill, with absolutely no offsets--something they have demanded of the president and the Democrats at every turn. And the GOP continues the laughable pretense that they care about the debt.
And it's all the Dems fault. After all, they're in cahrge.

...oh wait...
