Poor conditions is what I said. Not poor women. Pay better attention.
It takes love, devotion, and desire to raise a child, and succeed in making their lives meaningful. Those fundamentals are as important as money. A child raised without benefit of those values is a child raised in poor conditions. They are unloved, neglected, abused, and forgotten. This is a far worse condition than early termination.
Your judgement of women confronted with such a difficult decision as 'spiritually bankrupt' reveals a rather ugly truth about your own confused moral pioty. There's a higher authority in your hierarchy of faith in charge of such judgement. It's not your burden to carry.
Yes and the higher judgement says----moral bankruptcy when the innocents has no voice and we neglect them.
57,000,000 unwanted pregnancies forced to term and birthed into a variety of poor conditions is quite worse in my opinion.
Yep, our prisons are full of criminals that should been aborted. I would much rather pay $800 for an abortion than 18 years of welfare followed by a life time in prison. Abortion is the better financial decision. Conservatives should love abortions, as it means fewer Liberals
A fetus almost certainly is not sentient. An infant seems to develop self-awareness at about 15-24 mos old. Particularly in early development, a fetus is potential, but nothing else.
If you compare the physiological at early stages of fetal development, there's little difference between a human infant and any other mammal. The anti-abortion perspective is based on dogma, not science.

Are you saying all the people in prison are liberals?

The baby doesn't know but we do. Plus don't kill someone just because they don't know about their surroundings or we would be killing many sick people who are in temporary comas, maybe you someday.

Temporary or permanent comas? If someone's brain is dead or so far damaged they have no plausible chance of recovery, then by all means kill them, or at the very least let them die naturally.
Every time a woman has a period, that's a potential 'life' unfulfilled, but we don't think of it as murder. Fetuses are the same: They're in the process of developing, but aren't yet a baby. Since they're dependent on the mother, if she wants to abort it, that should be her right.

Of course, it would be temporary coma, sometimes doctors put a patient into a coma to heal after a terrible accident.
Not sure about the period. Even women not having sex have their period.
The right to kill a life should not be anyone's right but since the courts say it is then not much can be done about it until the law is overturned. Babies are dependent on there mother for a long time and no one is saying it is ok to kill after birth, well not many, the babies born alive after a botched abortion are left to die and not helped.

A person in a medical coma is not the same as a fetus who has never been conscious. The two issues are completely different.
And you keep obsessing over 'botched' abortions, when that seldom happens during legal abortions. Women are actually more likely to be injured during actual childbirth than during a legal early-stage abortion.
It's pretty simple: You and the gov should stay out of other people's personal issues. I think marriage is a tediously bureaucratic, dated institution, but of others want to get married, fine; it's their decision, not mine. Let the woman decide if an abortion is what she wants. It's her decision, not yours.
