The whining about snowflakes somehow reminds me of a fruit rotting. I'd prefer being a snowflake over being a rotten apple, because one rotten apple...
But most of them aren't genuine snowflakes, and they aren't really looking for safe spaces. Lacking the ability to compete at college intellectually, they are using other means to dominate their environments.
