Still working on trade agreements.

We just want free trade, but all the prospects want us to be their ally.

We hate foreign entanglements.

I find it interesting and very telling. I also no longer wonder why there's some interest in secession.
Yikes... but ain't that just like 'em ... if you do not worship the Messiah-O, you obviously are a racist. You're not allowed to merely dislike the man on his own merits.

they might try a federal gun grab, but if they do they shall have a problem with 3-6 million people not turning in their firearms as ordered by obama.

There are those who would like to see a federal gun grab, but that simply would not fly. Too many people would die.

I think the govt will continue to try to over regulate firearms and try to continue to take away more freedoms a little bit at a time. Kind of like chipping away at a concrete wall...

it is a bit hard to over regulate firearms which are already owned, and hard to make alot of people follow them as well.
alot of freedom loving firearms owners shall not follow anymore gun control laws that come up from on high in washington dc.

they do not even follow the rule of law, then why in the hell should we?

About 20 years ago California passed some law requiring that some class of hunting rifle be registered or turned in to the state (I forget the details). An appalling number of citizens complied with this. Similarly, when various local gov'ts have merely requested that people turn in their guns, tens of thousands of people have complied, by turning in perfectly legal weapons. Somehow we've gotten the notion that anything the state says, we should go along with like good little sheep.

One has to wonder just how many freedom-loving citizens are left in some states.

Methinks such laws and requests in MT would result in a great deal of quiet civil disobedience, at least from Montanans. What the newer transplants might do ... that'd be downright embarrassing to a free people.
