I guess we should still be caring out our thoughts with a hammer and chisel.

The pencil and paper put all those who made he hammer and chisel obsolete.

We should NOT have let the typewriter be sold.

Then with the computer, which you are using, how about all those typewriter repairmen who lost their jobs.

You CANNOT STOP new technology.

Oh, I fully agree. But liberals whine and complain about how no/low skills workers, who are easily and inexpensively replaced by technological progress, aren't paid enough to "live on."

Up, yep... there's a very valid REASON for that: their skills/labor have very little value.

I could go on but you get the gist of it.

1. The entire premise of this is indeed minimum wage... made by the OP. I don't understand why you decided to have this debate with me instead of the OP.

2. Minimum wage boost wages overall. Jobs that pay above minimum will eventually see an increase as well. It's simple logic - when you increase min wage from, say, $8 to $10. All the jobs that used to pay $10 now will increase as well since, maybe to $12. And this chain of event makes wages raise overall. Now, I am not saying that's is the reason Ashley left CA. But I am answering your silly assumption that raising the min wage has no effect on the rest of the wage scale.

Depends on the place. There are many places that I think is not worth it, or they'd have to pay me a heck of a lot of money for me to move there.
