I think you overestimate the true number of "social" conservatives. A lot of conservatives like myself are so fiscally conservative yet moderate with the social issues. Our biggest issues in this country lies in the corruption for the almighty dollar. Who's getting it? And who's getting screwed to get it? He fixes that....he'll have done Okay in my book.......

The presidency is the biggest prize with Trump as the biggest outsider since Ross Perot. In fact Trump is bigger, way bigger (UUge even). This is new territory.

Most other races were were the usual mix of Repub and Demo candidates and their stupid attack ads. Independents/Libertarians/Green Party folks were nowhere to be seen, in fact the media hardly covered them at all.
