Yes, it gets hot in India. That's what happens when you get close to the equator.

I'm not interested in participating in the ongoing "is climate change real?" debate, but I'd like to see world leaders do much more for the environment in general. A cleaner, less polluted world isn't going to hurt anyone.

Not just near the equator, but the entire world is heating up....

Recent observed surface air temperature changes over the Arctic region are the largest in the world. Winter (DJF) rates of warming exceed 4 degrees C. over portions of the Arctic land areas.

And that can start by reducing immigration to first world nations like the US. Agree?

Previous climate warmth

So far the ice cores can only provide us a glimpse into the Eemian warm period. But we can already tell that Eemian climate was significantly warmer than the climate of the current Holocene interglacial - probably about 5°C warmer.
A glimpse into the Eemian – University of Copenhagen

It will naturally get warmer and there's nothing you can do about it, so get used to it.

I believe they are more concerned about immediate dangers and tend to ignore those that are remote and in the distant future...

The theory of cognitive dissonance describes the unease which comes when reality conflicts with our beliefs, and how we often go to extreme lengths try to ignore or distort evidence, so that we can maintain our beliefs. So we try to deal with cognitive dissonance created by global warming by ignoring it completely, or attributing it to a conspiracy. https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog...chology-denial

I'm not American, so who am I to comment on what the United States should do regarding immigration? I'm open to reading your opinion on that matter (in relation to this topic) though.

You are still wrong...The warming we are experiencing currently is not natural and we can certainly do something to mitigate it....
