I'm not interested in participating in the ongoing "is climate change real?" debate, but I'd like to see world leaders do much more for the environment in general. A cleaner, less polluted world isn't going to hurt anyone.

The theory of cognitive dissonance describes the unease which comes when reality conflicts with our beliefs, and how we often go to extreme lengths try to ignore or distort evidence, so that we can maintain our beliefs. So we try to deal with cognitive dissonance created by global warming by ignoring it completely, or attributing it to a conspiracy. https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog...chology-denial

I'm not American, so who am I to comment on what the United States should do regarding immigration? I'm open to reading your opinion on that matter (in relation to this topic) though.
