They are the ones who let everyone know who they are and how they feel..about everything and all day long.
They have to make sure everyone knows their "worldview".
They are the ones who de/un friended family members on FB for not agreeing with "their" politics.

Again, it's probably likely that you babble on about politics with everyone you know everytime you see them. That's why you always end up in political conversations with family.
Instead of the football game like everyone watches on Thanksgiving, you try to force the family to watch Fox News.
I don't need to worry about that because my family isn't stocked with IDIOTS that love to bring up contentious issues about politics at family gatherings when we're supposed to be enjoying ourselves and stuffing our faces with tons of fat and carbohydrates.
The wife and I had an early Thanksgiving feast with our three neighbors last night. All three are heavily left leaning. I could see that they were in pain and mourning over the election results, so as a good neighbor, I felt no need to pour salt in an open wound. It was a really nice dinner!

and while my family isnt above bringing up contentious issues, we know that in the end we are family, and that these issues are not enough to tear us apart.
My house rules are that no liberals are ever allowed in my house. My younger brother and sister are libs, therefore, if they return "home", family get togethers have to be somewhere else.
My house is the biggest (6,000+ sq ft) and able to accomodate everyone, but I just don't want libs in my home and refuge taling about thier BS views and spoiling dinner.
Not in my house, not on thanksgiving, not on any day!
I think all those who will show up will be grinning about the election results.
