Big money out of politics, affordable education and healthcare, plus investment in green tech/infrastructure = Nutty. Got it. Americans are brainwashed. You're especially brainwashed if you think Universal healthcare is by any means, progressive.
Those ideas aren't nutty on their face, it's when you get in to the details that they become nutty.
Rather than getting in to a whole big thing here, let me just some it up this way:
taking other people's earnings and giving it to other people = nutty.
It is painful to watch the president they love hated by the other half of the country. It is easier to attack than defend. When one is on the side that dislikes the man in office, they can just sit by and insult.
Dear Trump won the election by wide margin.
Vast majority of USA supports him.
You said he wouldn't win. This speaks to your judgment on the matter.
Earth calling Repubs. Trump DID NOT win by a wide margin. Secretary Clinton won the popular vote by 2 Million votes.
....which amounts to roughly 0.7% of the total population, so, not exactly a wide margin either when put in to it's proper context.
There will likely never be another "landslide" election and no candidate is likely to ever get a "mandate" as defined by conventional terms ever again. Terms like "mandate" and talking about the popular vote, are merely coping mechanisms employed by the losing side in order to make themselves feel better about their loss, but don't really amount to anything in practical terms.

Obama 2008 had a wide margin of victory, as did Reagan in his elections & Clinton '96 (all looking at popular vote). There will be more landslides on that order.

Secretary Clinton won the popular vote by 2 Million votes. How wonderful, I can just see her standing in front of a mirror repeating endlessly, I won the popular vote, I won the popular vote, I won the popular vote, I won the popular........................................... ..................................................
Over half the country? I don't like Trump, but you people are inept if you think half the country dislikes him. Hell, only a 1/4 of the country voted against him.
Seriously, if you people want to gain support, you have got to stop the stupid lies.
AMEN.
BTW, despite liking cities and living in urban areas, it was long overdue for the larger cities not to get the only say in the POTUS race for once.

Current statistics from the project estimate that 231,556,622 Americans were eligible to vote in the 2016 presidential elections. Of those, an estimated 134,457,600 voted.
It's a real stretch to say that only 1/4 of the country voted against him, in fact it's a silly as if I were to say that 3/4 of the country supported Clinton, huh?
