here are the facts.....Bill Clinton signed NAFTA in 1993......it gave Mexico advantages over our working class that we can't compete with them in low wages.
Trump can't force companies to stay.....so he has to offer than by tax cuts and tax incentives them to stay to counter balance Mexico's cheap labor and even that Democrats complain.
Democrats complain that the working class is getting screwed for decades but they supports these bad trade deals, and for globalism and are for Open Borders of letting millions of undocumented workers come here and bring wages down and compete with our working class.
I never heard Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party in the campaign for any immigration enforcement, she didn't come out for e-verify, she never said STOP HIRING ILLEGAL WORKERS......she basically said she wasn't going to separate families, basically it means if you are here illegally and you have a family you get to stay......she wanted the Latino votes without paying a price politically.
Trump is right on the issues and has the working class best interests.

Bernie has a point. Trump said he's going to make companies pay a tariff if they ship jobs overseas. Instead Trump hands out a tax cut for not moving, a profoundly stupid move. So now every company that wants a tax cut just has to threaten to move to Mexico.
We can see where this is headed -- Trump's going to hand out corporate welfare like candy and the taxpayers will be left holding the bag. No surprise Trump likes corporate welfare, he's make a living off it, and rarely pays taxes himself.

tell us genius, how do you convince American Companies to stay when other countries offer cheap labor, lower taxes and hardly no regulation? you have to offer them something to stay. Companies are in business to make money not to give most of their profits to the government.

I'm betting soon there will a DOD warehouse with a bunch of Carrier air conditioners in it.The Government will have to pay double or triple for them so Carrier can keep the plant open.

we need immigration enforcement,,,,what good is a law with no enforcement? Trump is the ONLY candidate talking about immigration law enforcement.
the other party are giving illegals driver's licenses, legal status and protection from federal immigration enforcement because they want the votes and the cheap labor.......does that helps our working class? NO!
Another viewpoint... what would they have lost by going to Mexico? Money via increased taxes on importing back into the USA... Government contacts if they decided to relocate... numerous bargaining chips are available to keep companies here that the current administration chose not to use.
Life does not always operate by the "zero sum gain" theory.
So the Tax payer is making up the difference? Or the potential Carrier customer? Or they just take the hit and rolling with the punches?

OK, not to rain on President Elect Trumps Parade *BUT* CNBC is reporting that in exchange for $7 Million in tax cuts, UTX will invest $16 Million in their plant. How many robots can you buy for $16 million?
Trump didn't do jack, but like always, he's taking credit for it. Carrier won't be the first to extort states and the feds.
