I'm guessing he will quit when the impeachment process begins.

His ego couldn't handle being fired!

Default Any chance he'll just become sick of this and resign?

It's already evident that he is in way over his head and doesn't like or even want the job. Any chance we would be nearing a breaking point where he will just get fed up and step down? That would be the optimal thing and would save the country from going through a long impeachment process.

What do you think the country's reaction would be if that happened?

If he resigns it will only be to save face and his ego can consider it a win.

I think the opposite has happened, President Trump is not as weak willed or minded as some hope and all of the controversy/media fuel adds to his fire.

Yep. See I'm winning, I'm winning! Then he will go on rants crying about what he could of done but was turned against.

I think it would definitely be good in the long run, but it won't stop the cacophony of people who will say he was driven to it by a biased and unfair media. The fact that he is not cut out for president will not be acknowledged by his most ardent supporters. But it would be better than removal through impeachment, from that perspective.

I think there is a chance, if the pressures on him grow strong enough. Most of the pressure would probably have to come from within; when that happens, Trump has a history of giving up if he can find some way of self-denial for it.

If he resigns he'll give a phony baloney reason that no one will believe, but we'll be so glad he's gone, we won't care.
