Against the Patriots because they are a tainted organization and have a proven history of cheating. That and honestly, their fans are the biggest F heads of any team. At least those not actually from New England.
I haven't heard anything about Tom Brady liking Trump or supporting him.
I couldn't care less about sports. My brother, who does care, is very unhappy that Tom Brady is in yet another Super Bowl. The whole Deflate Gate scandal was a problem for him.
I'll probably end up rooting for the team that's losing in the last five minutes, assuming it's a close game.
We're the best! This said, I never liked Tom Brady because he's an empty-headed Ken doll which would explain his following of Trump.
So, say you had a good friend for years who ends up running for the presidency, and against all odds wins it. Would you support the friend and be happy about it, or would you act like he was all the sudden a pariah because half the country doesn't like him?
If you chose the latter, what kind of person are you? Brady knows Trump in a different way than the media caricature we all know. I recall at the beginning of the campaign many celebrities talking about how they always had very wonderful and respectful conversations with Trump, and liked him. Now they've all turned their backs on him. At least the empty headed Ken Doll has the courage enough to stand by a friend.
And if your sole reason for not liking a guy is because he has a different political opinion than you, get over yourself. Politics are important, but not that important.
Let's see if she takes the high road. I will have a lot of respect for her if she just entertains and does not go into a political rant. I would rather have multiple "wardrobe malfunctions" than even one entertainer of either political affiliation spout their opinions during a sporting event.
Here's to wishing the same but, I really doubt it. If she does I'm done with celebs for a while, I'm tired of it. I'll play video games instead and play my guitar for awhile. lol
I doubt they'll ever reach the super bowl If Colin Kaepernick remains their QB.
The 49ers were expected to finish last, no matter who was standing in at quarterback. The organization was a mess, from those on the field, to those in management. The fact that they won two, surprised many, who thought they wouldn't be able to beat the LA Rams.
I will be rooting against them because he knocked my Steelers out of the playoffs, and I don't like that little smirk on his face, he is the media darling, I don't want them to close in on the Steelers six Super Bowl titles. And because of all of that they are probably going to win, lol. Also, I do live in South Carolina and Atlanta is a lot closer than New England.
You wouldn't believe how many people i've spoken to that will be rooting against the Patriots. All because of Tom Brady's support for Trump---Even my own Uncle. And i'm located in Massachusetts. So much for free speech.
What does any of that have to do with free speech?
Can't help but wonder if the same folks who think that Hollywood celebs need to keep their opinions to themselves since they are paid to entertain not opine, are all for Tom Brady (assuming he is a Trump supporter) voicing his opinion, and basing their football-cheering habits on him.
I have no idea about Brady's political leanings but fully support his right to the same freedom each American citizen holds to vote how they choose and voice their opinion.
