Let me clear this up.

Kelllyanne was briefed, anyone here who takes a higher level position is fully aware it comes with a full briefing and a lot of ethical guidelines. She would have been stepped through them and would likely have signed them etc...

Conway KNEW exactly what she was doing and she has a pattern of repeating the errors trump makes in order to cover for him.
The policy in Trumpland is to use the same words Trump uses to try to normalize them, they policy is to repeat his errors quickly to get people attacking the wrong target. She is acting as a human shield for Trump. Now Trump sees her getting shot down and is less likely to repeat his offense.

It was no accident people are hardly talking about trump's abuse of position and instead are talking about kellyAnn.

and lets face it, who here did not know the executive branch is not supposed to attack or promote private sector interests...
Exactly. Just as Conway conveniently slipped the phrase "pussyfooting around" into an interview straight after the infamous Access Hollywood "p**** grabbing" tape surfaced. She was trying to diffuse the word and render his comment less shocking.

My impression by the facial expressions of the Fox and Friends hosts, while Kellyanne was telling the viewers to buy Ivanka's stuff, was they were thinking, "oh crap, cut the segment!"

It'll be interesting to see where this story goes. It certainly isn't a good look for them right now.

Let's see how fast they try to bury this and change the national conversation topic.
Trump will pull a big absurd shenanigan real soon to distract from this.

So presidential! It is way past time for him to grow up.

Trump: I don't need daily briefings

President-elect Donald Trump said he does not need to receive the presidential intelligence briefing every day, suggesting in an interview aired Sunday that such briefings are repetitive and he is happy to rely on those around him on matters of intelligence and national security.

I actually feel bad for Ivanka - she's pretty level-headed, seems to have a good head on her shoulders, and I really respect her stance on a few issues (such as believing that climate change is both real and a serious threat). And she doesn't get to choose her father...

But she's taking the brunt of the insanity being waged by her father and his administration right now. It'll probably be a pretty rough few years...

I kind of wish she would have ran instead...she has no political experience, so would not be qualified - but neither did her father.

Then again, I don't know if a non-confrontational candidate could have won this year. Maybe that's what America wanted...

Of course, my sympathy only goes so far - knowing her family wealth, she'll be fine and will survive this. And she probably should have divested from her companies so this kind of thing wouldn't have happened in the first place.

It will have to come down to an interpretation of the "rules", at a higher level, apparently.

Here are the rules: https://www.oge.gov/web/oge.nsf/Use+...+and+Resources

Obama has publicly endorsed Planned Parenthood....does that NOT count if the non-profit is federally funded?

Again, interpretation?

A human shield.

Makes perfect sense.

Nailed it.
