I noticed a number of post suggesting Conway made a mistake...
Let me clear this up.
Kelllyanne was briefed, anyone here who takes a higher level position is fully aware it comes with a full briefing and a lot of ethical guidelines. She would have been stepped through them and would likely have signed them etc...
Conway KNEW exactly what she was doing and she has a pattern of repeating the errors trump makes in order to cover for him. The policy in Trumpland is to use the same words Trump uses to try to normalize them, they policy is to repeat his errors quickly to get people attacking the wrong target. She is acting as a human shield for Trump. Now Trump sees her getting shot down and is less likely to repeat his offense.
It was no accident people are hardly talking about trump's abuse of position and instead are talking about kellyAnn.
and lets face it, who here did not know the executive branch is not supposed to attack or promote private sector interests...
Exactly. Just as Conway conveniently slipped the phrase "pussyfooting around" into an interview straight after the infamous Access Hollywood "p**** grabbing" tape surfaced. She was trying to diffuse the word and render his comment less shocking.
That was a very lighthearted segment it's a total non-issue. Fox and Friends is a morning show that covers a lot of things that isn't hard news or politically related. This is all engineered by the media they're just looking for anything they can find. They've taken the Ivanka clothing line thing and just ran with it for how long now
My impression by the facial expressions of the Fox and Friends hosts, while Kellyanne was telling the viewers to buy Ivanka's stuff, was they were thinking, "oh crap, cut the segment!"
The media already had an obsession it was always part of their strategy to get at Trump. They were working the Ivanka clothing line angle months and months ago. This isn't new. Trump's problem is he's easy to get riled up and he has to fight with them and always respond to them.
So presidential! It is way past time for him to grow up.
Uh no. I believe the implication is that he wasn't paying attention at the meeting and was tweeting about his daughter's business interests instead.
Trump: I don't need daily briefings
President-elect Donald Trump said he does not need to receive the presidential intelligence briefing every day, suggesting in an interview aired Sunday that such briefings are repetitive and he is happy to rely on those around him on matters of intelligence and national security. Trump: I don't need daily briefings - POLITICO
Being in the President's administration and being a peripheral, political person (like that alliteration? ) are very different, I would think. The protocols and rules of conduct must be tremendous, not to mention how much there is to learn regarding policies.
As most Americans knew that was wrong, I am sure she knew that also.
I actually feel bad for Ivanka - she's pretty level-headed, seems to have a good head on her shoulders, and I really respect her stance on a few issues (such as believing that climate change is both real and a serious threat). And she doesn't get to choose her father...
But she's taking the brunt of the insanity being waged by her father and his administration right now. It'll probably be a pretty rough few years...
I kind of wish she would have ran instead...she has no political experience, so would not be qualified - but neither did her father.
Then again, I don't know if a non-confrontational candidate could have won this year. Maybe that's what America wanted...
Of course, my sympathy only goes so far - knowing her family wealth, she'll be fine and will survive this. And she probably should have divested from her companies so this kind of thing wouldn't have happened in the first place.

A human shield.
Makes perfect sense.
Nailed it.
