Trump's presidency with all its connections to Russian oligarchs and the ties between its billionaire cabinet members has put the light on just how corrupt the international globalist capitalists are and how they work in concert to cheat the working people of the world. To say I never had much respect for Trump would be a gross understatement, but I never expected him to populate his cabinet as he has. If he is draining the swamp of career politicians, he is replacing it with stateless crooks, thieves, liars, and cronies. That will prove far worse for America.

Now, he leads a government where employees have a sworn duty, not to Trump, but to the constitution of the U.S. We then also have three other groups that don't take orders from him: The House, the Senate and the Courts. Plus, the fourth estate.

For the first time in his life, he's being subject of criticism.
It's amazing to me, the founding fathers, sure knew what they were doing back in the 1700's. They knew that there might be dictators, along the way. I am so proud of the republicans, for sticking to their guns and not voting on a crummy bill, just because the bully threatened them. There may be hope for our country, yet.

But you know what? When Obama took office in 2009, tax revenue was down $500 billion a year and without passing any new legislation on the matter, more people were applying for unemployment benefits, Medicaid and Food Stamps. That's what your government does responding to a near depression.

What should Obama have done? Should he have cut off spending just when unemployed Americans need that help? Or, maybe he should have asked the Congress to raise taxes? Which is something one isn't supposed to do in a recession.

Ahhh, but your comment isn't to air policy alternatives. Your remark's purpose is really just to blame Obama for debt -- even though he righted the economy.
You're correct, and I am blaming Obama. He had a once in a lifetime chance to finally do something about entitlement spending. A democrat, with a democratic congress there for the first two years. Understand that we had to spend some money to avoid a depression. But... He could have tweaked healthcare instead of doing Obamacare, which never put any sort of brakes on health costs. He could have used the power of his presidency to work in fixing social security in the long term. He did none of that. He did what democrats do best....tax, spend, mostly borrow, and kick the can down the road to be dealt with by somebody else.

And the banking/debt crisis. He had everyone in a room and caved to the banksters.

Obama made improvements to shore up Social Security without a blanket cut of Social Security. I guess you missed that?

New laws that will affect Social Security benefits in 2016 | Clark Howard

November 2, 2015, President Obama signed, and thereby enacted into law, the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. Subtitle C, Section 831 of this bill includes significant changes to Social Security benefits. These changes include the phase out of filing strategies referred to as “unintended loopholes” — known as file-and-suspend and the restricted application for spousal benefits

Bet he thought this Presidency gig would be just like being on The Apprentice.........show up, read your lines, then go golfing at Mar A Lago. With all the pressures coming at him from so many fronts, like the Russian investigation, his Obamacare failure, his failed immigration ban, and his dropping ratings, he has to be feeling it.

And the best part is, he hasn't even scratched the surface yet on the myriad of tasks a real President faces every day. Just wait until some of the international problems start to end up on his desk.
Minutes later Trump signed the executive order in question. He didn't feel comfortable with the hostile press. This is something a rational person does.

Then why did he invite the press to begin with? You know that many, many EOs have been signed without all the cameras and press present, right? Trump just can't help himself--he needs to be in the limelight at all time. Then he scurries away like the immature pretender he is once the photo op is over.

I suspect another reason they keep making these EO signings press events is because Trump has nothing good to point to having gotten accomplished in his first few months, so they need to invent things that make it look like he's actually governing. But signing EOs and doing nothing else is not governing.

No, this is something an inept wimp does. He didn't have the courage to stand and answer questions, so he bolted like Bambi.

Please do not use the words Trump and rational in the same sentence.

Tradition, the press would scream if it wasn't invited. My guess is unless they stop with Russian nonsense, they will not be invited in the future. It's time for a shake up of government interaction with media. So much has gone online, yet we still have large conglomerates hogging most press access and reporting.
