It's because he wants to be seen. You're making it more to justify it.

So, it's your contention that the press needs to be restricted in what they are allowed to question the president about? Is that seriously the kind of country you want to live in?

Are you an American? Because it doesn't sound like you have ever heard of the first amendment. Sounds more like you want a dictatorship.

You mean the Russian "nonsense" that is being investigated by the FBI, NSA, ... as well as both the House Intelligence Committee, and the Senate Intelligence Committee?

The press should probably spend time reporting on topics such as the banned toxic pesticide that is no longer banned, or the poisons that can once again be spewed into the air and dumped into our water.

Sometimes it seems as if the Russian "nonsense" is a Trump/Bannon strategy to divert attention off what is really going on with our nation.

Bet he thought this Presidency gig would be just like being on The Apprentice.........show up, read your lines, then go golfing at Mar A Lago. With all the pressures coming at him from so many fronts, like the Russian investigation, his Obamacare failure, his failed immigration ban, and his dropping ratings, he has to be feeling it.

And the best part is, he hasn't even scratched the surface yet on the myriad of tasks a real President faces every day. Just wait until some of the international problems start to end up on his desk.
He is looking old and tired after just 70 days in, and his face and physique, are starting to resemble a Macy's Thanksgiving Parade Float Balloon. Time for salads only.

The job is just too big and complicated for him and he can't tweet his way to a successful Presidency. In addition there are problems stacking up, like airplanes on the runway for which he has no solutions. Namely Healthcare, the budget, tax reform, infrastructure, Russia, North Korea, China, ISIS, Syria Yemen, etc. To make it even worse he has no allies to get anything done, the freedom caucus and moderate repubs aren't afraid of him and the Dems are not going to throw him a lifeline.

Good luck Donny!

With each passing day he looks more weak and ineffectual in office. The day the House told him to go pound sand, after he spent two very public days on the Hill twisting arms and making threats, was the day America saw the reality of the Trump presidency. No one respects him, on either side of the aisle or right up the middle, and no one has any desire to stand by him. He had no honeymoon in office because he has no support from any quarter.

Weak and ineffectual will be his presidential epitaph.

Scarborough made a good point last week. He said that Trump never had a Board of Directors to deal with--he basically had carte blanch to do whatever he wanted without any push back or accounting to anyone.

He doesn't know how to deal with it and is obviously having a difficult time coping. Dragging Ivanka in to be his 'assistant' is reflecting how weak he feels on his own. Bannon & co. aren't doing it for him apparently.

Yesterday he reportedly stayed in the WH fuming about the whole Russia investigation and started tweeting out garbage again. People are so used to his crazy aggressive false tweets that they are just covered as everyday news and many aren't even paying attention. Half of it is rehashed Fox 'news' put out by hacks. He attacked Chuck Todd who didn't even bother to acknowledge it. Trump is becoming irrelevant.

And we know what Trump hates more than anything--being ignored.

If you have ever watched Sean Spicer's press briefings, you would know just how hostile the press is. Their questions are never fact finding, but always looking for some way to criticize and marginalize our President. It truly is sickening, as they definitely have an agenda.

Where is their coverage that the Obama administration had surveillance on Trump and his team months before the election, and even after he won? Where is the coverage Obama change the law that intelligence information could be disseminated to 17 difference agencies, and that identities of American citizens were unmasked?

This is nothing more than a huge attempt by the left to get rid of the outsider that wants to "drain the swamp".

Well, when you put it that way, things do a little grim.

This is going to be a true test of our nation and whether a "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

Will the judicial system stand firm behind our Constitution?

Will the House do its job? Ditto Senate?

I realize that this is serious business and not something to be launched into lightly. However, while Congress is dragging along, we are being robbed of our natural resources and who knows what else.

Since team Trump has presented no evidence that this actually occurred, and everyone from Comey to Nunes has denied this actually happened, what more coverage could there be, pray tell, to this story?

"Bagdad Bob" Spicer keeps bringing it up, but even he doesn't look like he believes it.

Perhaps if Obama sued for slandering his good name and ruining his chances at a raking it in post-presidentially there'd be something to print.

But right now the story is, "Trump Lies Again."

This is all true. Trump's presidency will be a failure, perhaps a spectacular one if the Russian investigation turns over the right stones and he ends up getting impeached.
