This might as well be Goebbels speaking at a Nazi party rally.
I have no clue who that guy is, nor if he is the originator of the term "Alt-Right" or not. So it is hard to denounce something you are not even aware of.
The same goes with the term "Alt-Left" which I hear thrown around, but have no clue who started it, nor what kook group it might represent.
Again, how can one denounce some fringe group they know nothing about?
I just think that the liberal left tends to get easily frustrated when there isn't someone that automatically agrees with them, doesn't appeal to authority like they do when they cite their studies, or cannot attach emotion to this issue they claim it's a civil rights cause.
I think that religious conservatives have every right to engage in civil society and join the political debate.
I'm also a fan of both Ben Shapiro who's right of center, and very religious, and Dave Rubin who's left of center, gay and married... and they're friends. I really enjoyed their conversation on "The Rubin Report" on YouTube shortly after the election. This is part 1 of a 3 part interview, and it's so refreshing to hear rational conversation without the drama.
Check out the bit between 19:40 and 22:20, as relates to the subject of what you're talking about in your post. (As for the Alt-right, they talk about this too especially in part 2)
