This is consistent with a diagnosis of an untreated Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

His 'messaging' is also consistent with what he's been claiming from day 1:

"The law's totally on my side, the president can't have a conflict of interest." ~ November 2016

It's no coincidence the US has been downgraded from "functional democracy" to "flawed democracy" since his election.

Further downgrades are inevitable no matter the echo chamber he's actively seeking to animate.

Never!

The more wrong someone is, the less likely they are to ever admit that error.

I'm sure in their heads they are thinking "What a disaster this guy is" but they need to say it out loud. To their representatives in Congress.

To Trump enablers and apologist: It's ok. You can say it. We all know.
Please don't overestimate his followers.

An embarrassment. A clown. A disgusting excuse for a leader.

He is a disaster who will go down in history as the worst and dumbest president ever.
All this and more. I can imagine how this meeting went down. All Putin's defense minister had to do was ply him with compliments and shallow praise and all bets were off. He could easily get any information he wanted out of Trump. Trump is a sucker when people feed his insatiable ego, but he's so stupid he believes he's smarter than everyone else. I don't think he's a traitor, just too dumb to shut his trap at all, ever. I am worried about this trip he has overseas at the end of the week. How will he screw us over this time?

No kidding? Very informative. Thanks from every single conservative that just climbed out from under a rock.
The point is the massive hypocrisy from the right who want to blow this off as no big deal, or "fake news" (even after Trump admired doing it).

If it was a big, terrible, security disaster when Hillary allegedly did it, why isn't it one now? Because it's "your guy" in charge? Party over Country?

The hypocrisy is staggering.

But for Hillary, it was the ultimate crime.

WaPo now runs a story with information leaked from the WH about what information was passed during a meeting our president decided to hold in which he allowed NO other U.S. citizen to attend amidst allegations of Russian interference in our democracy. What the heck do you THINK was going to happen, especially with a man as reckless as Donald Trump? His own people are worried enough to leak. Then, to make it even worse, Trump basically admits in his tweets that he did it. So there is no false story here.

It's amazing the lengths you will go to defend this man who makes mistake after mistake after mistake. You might well consider that the journalism that is going on to publish this stuff is helping us make his administration transparent. But it's obvious that you don't want transparency and just think it's okay for him to do this stuff, while others who make a fraction of the mistakes are worse somehow.
Yup, Trumpism is a cult for the dumb and poorly educated. Sadly there's a lot of people like that. As the saying goes - "Be definition, half the people are of below-average intelligence". Seems like they all love Trump and they all post on this board.

Trump needs a minder. A presidential nanny. Otherwise, he's going to keep on keeping on with his spoiled brattish behavior. Throwing himself on the ground and kicking and screaming when he doesn't get his way. Insisting on his two scoops of ice cream atop his chocolate cake. Pushing his way to the front of the line, yelling "Me first!!". Physically assaulting others on the playground, especially if they happen to be female. Telling others "I know something you don't know!". Bragging about his...well, whatever crosses his pea-brain. Topping others' stories to gain attention. Bullying his would-be friends "because he can".

And not giving a toss about consequences.

Brat Trump needs to be upended. Literally - or figuratively. Or both.

Just hope he doesn't upend the rest of the country when the board of correction is finally applied.

Trump speaks, but does not deny..ore of a 'so what' and a 'double down':

Yup, Putin KNEW he could manipulate Trump and he couldn't manipulate Clinton - hence he tried (and likely succeeded) to throw the election to Trump.

Trump/Putin 2016!

It seems more and more that TRAITOR TRUMP is following the lead of Richard Nixon. He fired the man leading an investigation of him, may tape WH conversations, and now is following Nixon's own words "When the president does it, that means it is not illegal." TRAITOR TRUMP is acting as if he above the law. It is looking more likely with each passing day that TRAITOR TRUMP may exit the WH in a very similar manner.
