Its only sexism if its girls are doing the same things boys are but boys are getting suspended at a higher rate than girls. Just the fact that more boys get suspended girl has no basis in sexism. And no case of sexism is totally acceptable.

It's a mix of all 3 the US is becoming a society where women are valued more than men. Some would say it's already been like that for a while. The school systems in general favor women over men and is part of the reason more women go to college.

At my school, a teacher brought up the stats of how black students were more likely to get suspended nationwide than white students and used it as a civil rights issue. However, I noticed that of all races, males were about twice as likely to get suspended as females - no matter the race. Why is this? Is this not also a civil rights issue if the black versus white is a civil rights issue?
It has to be exactly the same issue the Teacher brought up.

don't believe the teachers civil rights issue is the actual issue but it is the same issue.

I think it was more designed for some weird puritanical obedience. The school system has changed since 1800, but most of the core principles are largely the same, and that was designed for boys... sort of. I really don't think the sex was considered much in the methods. It was more "shut up, listen, and do as you should" and if you didn't, they beat your or publicly shame you, neither of which happens in modern school systems. The main punishment anymore is just imposed boredom.

Most school curriculums are more geared towards how women learn compared to how men learn there has been studies done on this.

Can you elaborate on that. How are women valued more than men now.

How does the school system favor women? and how is that why there are more women in college now than before.

It really helps if you have something to back up your assertions.
