I disagree.

Only 1 R nominee has won the national pop vote in the last 7 tries, and none of them were as unpopular as Donald Trump is currently (40%). If he's reelected it will be due to the electoral college, not the popular vote. It's difficult to win the national popular vote when you lose California by over 20 points and carry Texas by less than half of that. Another point is that it's virtually impossible to win the national popular vote without at least 40% of the Hispanic vote. I can't see Trump getting anywhere close to that.

If the silly wanna-be socialist really want to see any chance for income equality or at least a shrinking divide between the 0.01% and everyone else, that is what needs to be addressed. The government, the corporations, and evil rich guys are porch servants on this Plantation. They serve the same masters, and that is why the "government" will never serve the interests of the people.
So when do you think he was co-opted? He doesn't come from a family with ties to the money cartels.

I agree.

However, I look at the big picture and sadly Trump has made me realize some darker thoughts.

He's just bad at managing his public image and properly lying.

He's just not smooth and practiced at it nor as someone that isn't a career politician.

So, the bad news is that while trump might be a dog turd....so many others have just been dog turds wrapped in a nice box with a bow on it.

The lying etc in particular.

That is what all the news stations and polls said, and Trump won!! Many love Trump for standing up for Americans.

The media couldn't destroy him, the pundits couldn't destroy him and the polls couldn't either. Trump supporters came out from everywhere. Democrats, Republicans, and independents voted Trump. Some of the riches neighborhoods in NJ voted heavily for Trump.

The welfare crowd who want to stay on the system voted Hillary . Illegals voted Hillary. She lost.

Trump conquered like no other. He will again. Trump is doing wonderful things for the small business owner, for the Indians on reservations, for the union men, for the workers in towns who can't find a job. Trump will make a huge difference in getting the economy on track. God Bless Donald Trump! God Bless America!

It's not a popular vote race.

Hear, hear! Well and truly spoken. If they are a D or an R, they are bought, sold and owned by private interests, selling us out for wealth and power. Corrupt and untrustworthy.

This is particularly ridiculous nonsense. There has NEVER in history been a bigger group of chickensh!ts than the trump lemmings. Cowardly hypocritical dupes, all.

Trump lemmings fear everything:

The evil liberals who are here to take our guns and turn us Commie!

The awful Mexicans, here to steal our jobs, rape our women and start drug gangs!

The horrifying Muslims who are all the same and are all bent on our destruction!

The godless secularists who are here to outlaw religion and burn down the churches!

The twisted, sick homosexuals who are here to force everyone to become gay and commit depraved acts in the streets!

The uppity women who want to make their own decisions and earn equal money--they are subjugating men with their feminazi ways!

The despicable media--enemy of the people! Nothing but fake news! (Except Fox and other RWNJ sources, of course.)

The sinister global cabal of scientists, here to strike fear in our hearts by convincing the populace that we should *gasp* take care of our planet!

The educated elite who think they are superior to everyone else!

...and on, and on.

Not to mention they can't walk down the street for a sandwich without packing a gun (and I happen to support the 2nd Amendment.)

And, of course, anyone critical of trump is some anti-American freak, even though trump is a lifelong, well-known and admitted fraud, cheat, liar and scam artist. A sleazy, ignorant blowhard with zero accomplishments or successes since taking office but bungling, atmosphere of corruption, outright lies and broken promises.

*cue the lemmings to come on and shout about obama and clinton*

Let me head you off--I effin' hate them too!

And he will win again. Why? Because the deranged, the lying MSM, the broken Democrat party, etc go on and on about nonsense on a daily basis that the vast majority of Americans don't give a damn about, and then they go bonkers when they lose. Time after time.

They made a big deal about the house race in Suburban GA. Spent 10s of millions of dollars, brought in Hollywood, yet again, got big name Democrats to get involved like John Lewis, proclaimed it would be a referendum on Trump's failed Presidency, etc etc. And guess what. They got their asses whupped again. Why, because nobody listens to them now.

This is why they all avoid the elections forum now. There are literally 10s of 1000s of posts in there on why Trump won't win the election, and they were all wrong 100%. So it's rinse & repeat here. Same result to in 3.5 years.

Keep trying to predict the 2020 elections. Trump has so much time to do even more damage to himself and the office.

At least you guys are consistent by sticking with your dear leader.

I will bet a six pack of Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout that he won't win. I can already taste it now.
