I know that President Trump must be very proud today, in the fact that so many America hating athletics came together to bow before him. It shows that they are aware that he is the MAN, and they are but his humble servants.

That is just silly, no one is even trying to claim that as their reason for taking a knee.

“That’s a total disrespect for our heritage,” Trump told a crowd gathered in Alabama on Friday. “That's a total disrespect for everything we stand for.”

I think people are getting sick and tired of Hillary whiners, protesters who destroy confederate monuments and this garbage with the players.

Get back to football!
Ok, so this may be a sincere act but ya gotta admit if this guy is looking for public support ($) he's got one hell of a story for a GoFundMe page.

The problem is that I find that Trump forced this issue. Only a few players were kneeling prior to the Trump comments. Now more teams than individual players in a single day knelt down. See the issue? Before Trump said it, it was basically a non-issue.

LoL...the irony in all of this, is that the pledge was written by a socialist, and our founding fathers would probably cringe at the idea of a pledge.

Yep. As opposed to finding common ground to improve things, he made it worse. He chose to throw more fuel in the fire.

It's confusing, because five hours ago, Time.com posted this article. apparently this language and text is in the NFL "Game Operations Manual" :

Does the NFL Require Players to Stand for the National Anthem? - Time.com

Here's what the game operations manual says regarding the national anthem, according to an NFL spokesperson:
The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem.
During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.

the game operations manual isn't the rule book. One of my posts addressed this. And the NFL has stated they are not required to stand.
