Indeed. On the campaign trail, Trump did nothing but insult McCain, to include the unbelivably disrespectful comment about "I only want guys who don't get caught." McCain has done more for his country than Trump ever will.

Trump had been rude and disrespectful towards McCain for the most part. But then suddenly, when he needed his vote for healthcare, Trump had nothing but nice things to say about McCain. All of a sudden, Trump needs him for something, so he goes from talking down about him to kissing his butt. No shame for Trump.

What a joke Donals is.

Yep, good old "maverick" that voted multiple times to repeal when it didn't matter and totally screwed his constituents when it did matter.
I like the idea of removing the waiver from Obamacare that congress now enjoys, let them pay FULL PRICE...
Arizona took the Medicaid expansion. Voting for the bills that kill the Medicaid expansion hurts his constituents.

Says who? The federal government has been involved in health care for more than fifty years. Possibly since before the establishment of medicare.

If we had left everything up to the states in the past, they'd still have slavery south of the Mason Dixie Line. States don't always know what is best, especially on the big issues.

Trump can't work with Republicans either, or hadn't you noticed?

Keep dreaming. Trump never admits wrongdoing Or apologizes. He is a total hypocrite who apparently loves rally's where people fawn all over him and cheer him up. He really hopes to be our Ruler not a President. Perhaps, he still thinks he is on a reality tv show?

Obamacare is failing, and everybody is congratulating themselves that NOTHING has been done. Pretty sad, really, and people are still suffering. Both McCain and Schumer look like idiots celebrating doing nothing.

For the record, McCain got the assurance from Paul Ryan, and did it anyway. If his mouth is open, he is lying.

Now he will go home and get very expensive healthcare for yet another cancer, and we will all pay for it. Maybe he will make it, but a lot of regular people will not.
An assurance from a politician means nothing because they all lie. So Ryan's word meant nothing. McCain did the right thing. Graham would have voted no and there were 10 more republican senators on the fence. This would not have passed anyway, so it's not really McCain's fault. McCain told them to vote yes and his vote would be the deciding factor. The more people who are in the insurance pool lowers the cost for all of us.

Yes, Trump was way out of bounds in his comments on McCain. On McCain's part, only a very small man would punish 320M Americans to get back at someone that was mean to them.

One of these two is a real man, the other is a baby man......Yuge difference.
Re the bolded...... Riiight. That's why he took campaign contributions from Charles Keating. //sarcasm off

The Arizona residents who voted for McCain solely on the stance he took re Obamacare during the election season leading up to his re-election have a right to blame him...because he lied to them. Given that, it wasn't surprising that someone audibly called him a liar on the senate floor right after he cast that vote.
