You answered it yourself. If Trump had the ability for introspection, he wouldn't be Trump.

Does the Pope wear a beanie?

A normal person would regret attacking McCain in such an unfair way, but I'm not sure Trump is even aware he attacked McCain anymore. He does what he does and then forgets he ever did it.

Good job McCain, oh wait "Maverick"...
McCain and other republican senators wanted assurance that the house wouldn't pass this bill as is. They didn't get that assurance so it was defeated. McCain is still the maverick because he took the fallout from this. He has the guts to go against Trump. The rest of the republicans are just weaklings.

Ohh How I wish that were true, then he can forget that he was president..and we can all get a better nights sleep.

Glad McCain is being forthright in his decision making and intents. Trump could learn a few things on that high level of respectability.

I find it funny anyone believes his "excuse" because that is all it is.

Yep, good old "maverick" that voted multiple times to repeal when it didn't matter and totally screwed his constituents when it did matter.
I like the idea of removing the waiver from Obamacare that congress now enjoys, let them pay FULL PRICE...

McCain has a brain tumor.

what's the excuse for the people who defend him?

Obamacare is failing, and everybody is congratulating themselves that NOTHING has been done. Pretty sad, really, and people are still suffering. Both McCain and Schumer look like idiots celebrating doing nothing.

For the record, McCain got the assurance from Paul Ryan, and did it anyway. If his mouth is open, he is lying.

Now he will go home and get very expensive healthcare for yet another cancer, and we will all pay for it. Maybe he will make it, but a lot of regular people will not.

MCCain is getting old a realizing what really matters. Sure he voted lock step to repeal all those 60 times. This time was for real and he could plainly see the consequences of letting it pass.

Yack squeeze! If that were the case he wouldn't have repeatedly tried to hide behind the Governors pants leg, a leg that the Governor kept trying to shoo him off of by saying "I didn't tell McCain how to vote"...

McCain is a phony and as I've said before is just trying to do his best to look good in the history books now that his final chapter is almost finished.

No he didnt. He said that Trump was stirring up the crazies. If you self identify in that group, that is on you.

I dont think so. A dying man has nothing to lose. When you are facing death, you dont care about your image anymore.
