Let's see, Jindal is saying that the people who were elected to serve the community are no willing to abide by a federal immigration law and many encouraging people to break said federal law.

What's the punishment for an elected official (Mayor) to break a federal law and encouraging others to do so?

I honestly do not get people who are pro sanctuary cities. These illegals broke the law and they knew darn well they were doing it. Many bought SSN of dead people and some straight just made one up to use.

Are we supposed to feel pity for them because they now have a family? How did these people buy cars? Get driver's License?

What's the penalty for using stolen SSN or SSN of dead people? And we are supposed to overlook these serious offences?

Agreed, we should have no sympathy for our Sanctuary President. Deport Melania, jail Trump, fire all his illegals working at Mar a Lago and Bedminster, and then we can talk about going after the Sanctuary Cities.

Hell, Trump Tower, Trump's official residence, was built, in part, by illegals. Tons of illegal Polish construction workers built that tower. Lock him up!

Only the federal government can pursue and prosecute that. Why does this need pointed out 300 times?

You seem to be forgetting about all those illegal border crossings.

DHS reports that over 400,000 were caught trying to cross the border illegally. In just one year. And that number doesn't include the amount that evaded capture.

Nope, Melania crossed the border illegally. If you come to U.S. under tourist visa and start working, you've made an illegal crossing and subject to immediate deportation.

The VAST majority of illegals come by plane under tourist visas, just like Melania. Obviously illegals are not walking from China or Russia or Africa to the U.S.

The crime has already been described:

Arrest them. Prosecute them. Put them behind bars for 100 years or so. After all, that's federal law.

They are violating the law, and their oath of office, assuming that oath was to uphold the laws of not only their states, but of the United States of America.

Sanctuary cities violate the Constitution. No mayor or governor has the Constitutional authority to set their own immigration policy. That has been delegated to the Federal Government by the Constitution, which each State ratified. The Constitution is a legal contract.

5-10 years in federal prison for EACH illegal alien. Easily a 100+ year prison term.

I agree 100%. I already mentioned the Puerto Rico-issued birth certificate fiasco several posts ago.

Is Trump getting 5 or 10 years for Melania?

And what about all his illegal employees? That would be like thousands of years in jail, I guess.
