They have to wait until their Special Prosecutor wraps up his case, my guess is they are pushing that hard, so they can do what is needed before he does any more damage to the GOP. They have to do it based on law and the good of the Nation, otherwise the trumplings will completely lose whatever tentative grasp they have on reality. Heck some will go off the deep end no matter what the reasons for impeachment are given, he is their Savor and if he goes they will take the Nation down with him.
