It's fascinating to watch a president deliberately marginalize himself. He actually has hired some people who understand how this presidency thingie works. The problem is that he pays little attention to their advice.
A real president would surround himself with people a great deal smarter than he was on different subjects and listen when they speak. The first thing he should have done was found someone who knew how the government works to teach him something.

Too late now.

That is part of the reason the GOP will run someone different in 2020, Pence could not have been elected on his own and doubtful he could then, at least from what we have seen so far. Will interesting t watch unfold.

Most of our Founding Fathers would have been considered white supremacists by modern standards.

You can't go down this line of impeaching/removing a President just because he says things that people find controversial. That's not how our system of government works. Presidents have free speech too. People vote.

Something Kelly is finding out quickly, trump is a loose cannon that can not be controlled. My guess is Kelly is trumps last chance with the GOP, when Kelly is fired or simply walks away in disgust I believe any ad all support of trump by the GOP will be gone. At that point trump either becomes a lame duck President and he either resigns or Congress removes him. Next time the GOP needs to have a far better Vetting system, heck just require that any candidate have been an active member of the GOP for at least 4 years.

Faux News has not 1 liberal show on it...you're smoking crack if you think the network of that asswipe Hannity would allow a liberal on. It's the most conservative fascist supporting network out there. When you have to continually claim you are "fair and balanced", you are not. It's been a right wing nut job outlet from the beginning so you are right in that its a joke...but it's always been a joke.

Not a fan of any conservative...but I would have agreed here except Pence is now complicit in this as he backs Trump on everything he says. It would be nice to see him act like an adult and call 45 out.

Yep. And they're deciding which way that wind is blowing by listening to the screeching of the loudest critics. They're going to be surprised again by how many disagree, but who stay silent and out of the fray.

They wouldnt go on CNN either. Yesterday CNN called 55 Republicans for comment -they got one response. I can't remember his name.

Either Republicans have even less backbone than I thought (which unfortunately is the most likely scenario) or they are talking amongst themselves how they are going to move forward from here.

Lightbulb Fox's Shep Smith: We couldn't find a Republican willing to come on and defend Trump

They're gonna try to lay low for awhile, hoping that tRump's coddling of Nazis and the Klan will blow over so that they can get busy with voter suppression, giving public lands to corporations, and scrounging up tax breaks for billionaires.

It'll be very entertaining to see if they begin to act like Americans or continue to behave like hyperpartisans.
