While Antifa members don't fit a single category, they say many are millennials and many live on society's fringes: undocumented immigrants, transgender people, low-wage workers, those who don't conform to the traditional 9-to-5.
And their methods are often violent. Antifa leaders admit they're willing to physically attack anyone who employs violence against them or who condones racism -- as long as force is used in the name of eradicating hatred.
CNN doesn't want some sort of alternative candidate sponsored by the far left to gain any traction. Their job as propagandists for the DNC is to promote a corporate friendly, mainstream D candidate & for better or worse, that's not who the Antifa Communists are going to support. Think Bernie Sanders.
They're not going to bash the Antifa Communists to the point that the left turns on them just yet, but they want to plant the seed now so they trash them in 2019 when the Antifa Communists refuse to endorse the next Hillary type, corporate scumbag the DNC nominates.
What they are doing is more than 1:1 combat. It's systemic. With that said, and as I've said in another thread, they had their opportunity at free speech today. Sure, they were snuffed out, but I think it worked out fair. What the snowflakes want, as I've learned, is consequence free free-speech. That's not going to happen. Today they were simply over-powered by the masses. Tomorrow it might be something else.
As long as everyone obeys the law, consequences are fine. A lot of people on the left seem to think that laws are just suggestions. I'm glad if a neo nazi loses his job because he is a neo nazi. That's legal, and that's great. It's when people break the law to delve out their consequences that I have a problem with it.
I have an 'acquaintance' who protest with the NYC antifa group. He would be overjoyed to be paid anything by anybody. He'd take money from Soros. It has never been offered.

I do agree within certain confines for sure. Today there was no reason for anyone to get violent that I could tell. Those who did should be charged.
I have not read one post sympathetic to the KKK. Perhaps you have reading comprehension problems. This thread is about a stupid organization with a lot more power than these KKK people (Power of the media), who feel that violent suppression of free speech is okay. They aren't any better than these neo-nazi thugs, and in fact are worse because they are more influential.
