No one is against immigration. People are against ILLEGAL aliens.
Actually a lot of people are against legal immigration as well. Or at the very least, dramatically reduced, or not from certain countries, or only of highly skilled immigrants, etc.
So, seems it's not just America is it. Despite the relaxed president he still has to deal with protests and anti protesters. Just the climate in the world I guess.

And what's wrong with that? Do we really need the number of immigrants we are importing now with a shortage of jobs and resources? Do we really need immigrants from known terrorist countries or those whose culture and ideals aren't compatable with ours? Do we really need low or no skilled immigrants that will end up being a burden to our society? Bleeding heart liberals should ask themselves these questions instead of dealing in emotionalism.
Perhaps we could expand to scope of this topic to include protests in Canada rather than in Vancouver. There's a huge protest in Quebec between people who think illegal entry to Canada is okay, and those who are protesting migrants.
... and in Ottawa.
If Islam is so great, why are Muslims fleeing their home countries for Christian countries?
That's a very good question. The corollary is: if so many are fleeing to Christian countries because they offer a better quality of life, why do they not embrace the values of their chosen country?
