Did you ever speak up and tell them how unprofessional and disrespectful they were?
I have on a few occasions. "Speaking up" wasn't it though; it was more like ripping them a new one.
Maybe those people weren't busy enough. In the ER I worked we were extremely busy most days. We didn't have time for that crap.
I've only had to kind of comment once on a physical attribute when I had to seek guidance from a doc when I ran out of hose during an urinary cath procedure
That the hospital only gave them a slap on the wrist tells us they really didn't see it as a problem.
They didn't even get a slap on the wrist, they got a three week paid vacation. Such a fine world we live in, perv out with dead patients via necrophilia and get a paid vacation. Nice. I'll bet those witches would really get off on a book full of postmortem portraits from the Victorian era.
This one turn anyone here on?
No? Well now you know how absolutely SICK those nurses are.
People are so disturbed about the dumbest things these days. Some 50 years ago, I worked in an emergency room. Some of the things we did would cause today's snowflakes to have heart attacks.
Fifty years ago nurses still wore starched white dresses and funny hats, largely deferred to doctors and the career path was viewed as something women did to either find a husband/kill time until they married.
*That* was fifty years ago, times have changed; please keep up.
Sadly this is only a case that was reported and or otherwise reached the media. In far, far too man instances nurses have done things ranging from merely questionable to quite serious, only to be fired/allowed to resign quietly and take up their perversions elsewhere.
Becoming a RN these days is very difficult indeed; yet some of these new nurses act like Bro-Hoes at a TKE mixer.
