I don't understand why the U. S. is passing up all these chances to practice intercepting those missiles? Are they afraid that they'll rile-up Fat Boy too much, if they knock them down?
What would it state if we missed the interception?
Well, DUH! Did you figure that out all by yourself?
And so did Obama, and so did Bush 43, and so did Clinton, and so did Bush 41 and so did Reagan.
Trump couldn't even get Obamacare repealed - something that the GOP ran on for nearly 8 years. Do you really expect that he'll come up with a solution to North Korea?

Trump will likely achieve nothing in that regard - just like he's done with Obamacare. He's the most incompetent President EVER - and he's not even a year in yet.
Ugh, anyone else have a trip planned to Japan within the next few months? It's getting harder to feel safe while traveling internationally.
When it comes to visiting Japan, it's not the fat man you need to worry about. I'd be far more concerned with Fukushima and the radioactivity associated with the marine and plant life.

You don't understand why the U.S. doesn't intercept N.K.'s missiles, because you don't understand how missile intercepts work.
Virtually all missile intercepts work by sending the interceptor from the target area towards the missile. The reason we don't try to intercept those missiles is because we don't have anybody where the missiles are going to impact.

Personally, I never thought Trump was hard line enough. But, unless we are going to start having firing squads for Supreme Court Justices and Senators, we kinda have to work within the system. And the system is slow, and pretty saturated by members of the swamp.
OTOH, how is all of your whining about what Trump hasn't accomplished in his 8 months in office, the undoing of Obama's 8 years of damage, really related to dealing with 38 years of passively allowing N.K. to build its nuclear arsenal? It isn't. It is deflection.
