Personally, I think the political squabbling is unhelpful, on both sides. I don't blame Obama or Trump (especially the latter) for not single-handedly ending a very difficult issue. This isn't a republican or democrat issue. We're all on the same team here. Geez, was there this much political one-upmanship during WWII or did people just focus on defeating the enemy?

The events are in motion, and they will play out, with millions dead. We know that everywhere within reach of N.Korea will be a disaster, but we don't know exactly what the damage will look like here. Even though I have studied this for years, I still can't tell you how much damage we will take, here in N.America.
I do believe it will be the wreck of the Republic, however, since it will bring about the unleashing of forces (related to those I mentioned a moment ago) that reside below the surface, and that will not be pretty.
