Doesn’t change the fact that us pulling out before they do makes us look quite ridiculous.

And here I am thinking that we’re supposedly a superpower.

You're not comparing Apples to Apples. The UN in relation to the US is simply a money pit as the UN does nothing in the US that benefits it. The US doesn't have to deal with any real ramifications. Israel on the other hand has been placed on a pedestal with a light shining on it at all times. Thus Israel always has to play the PR game, while if the Muslim Arabs destroy sites the UN says and does nothing.

The Christian Arabs don't get any respect either from the Muslim Arabs.

Let’s be honest here...your beef with the UN is 242. That’s fine, but you should just say so in the interest of full disclosure. Frankly, I don’t care that Israel snubs the resolution. It’s no skin off my back.

However, when snubbing the U.N., don’t be so selective in your snub. Israel was PERFECTLY HAPPY with U.N. authority when agreeing with the United States that Iraq’s violations of U.N. resolutions was a just pretext for war.

In other words, the UN is great when it’s served it’s purpose to give license to aggression against a nation you don’t like, just don’t give UN resolutions any gravitas when it comes to the United States or Israel. The UN is BAD in those cases.

Of course, most Americans, luckily for you, don’t see the hypocrisy. I do however. Clearly, in fact.

So please, miss me with the UN is a money pit stuff. No on cared about how much money we threw in the pit when the UN provided us with the basis for justification to go to war. American and Israeli war profiteers thought the UN was great in 2003!

I am upset that he's waiting till the end of 2018 to pull out. He shoulda pulled out now. I really hope the UN dies. They are a greater enemy than the USSR was.

Besides, the UN itself is anti-Semitic and anti-Israel. We need to pull out and let the UN fall apart. Then the UN will stop sanctioning Israel and also stop their nasty New World Order plot that they named "Sustainable Development" to fool us.

My thought is to offer the UN three rotating headquarters; Anywhere in the Nunavut Territory from mid-October to mid-March; Doha, Qatar from mid-March to end of July; Dhaka, Bangladesh from beginning of August to mid-October. Or how about Barbadu or Puerto Rico, to help them rebuild?

Why should we pull out of the UN over Israeli issues when Israel is still a member that won’t be pulling out themselves?

Just how stupid are you trying to make this country look? If you’re an Israel Firster, then clearly you’re living in the wrong nation.

I am sure that Trump and Netanyahu negotiated a simultaneous withdrawal.

I think it looks better that we are pulling out first. It looks like we are leading on this, as opposed to Israel pulling out first, and then us tagging along.

I’m sure it was planned that way ahead of time. People would complain either way, but probably more so if we were the followers instead of the leaders.

Either way, this is a good thing. These are not our friends.
