Looks like a bunch of states are going to throw a monkey wrench into the Donald's MAGA healthcare plan! I guess it will go the way of Obama's Clean Air EOs.

Sure. As I said elsewhere, the liberals are going to throw everything into this battle. They literally can't afford to lose this one.

But, but, govt subsidies are the entire purpose for leftist Big Govt! It can't exist without them!

Too bad while you *****s are screaming Russia, Russia, Russia. Trump has stacked the lower courts with Scalia's... Constitutional Textualists.

The subsidies are coming from robbing Fanny & Feddie-Mae. That is illegal and already gone through the courts.

Trump is just ending one fascist aspect of Obamacare.

I would be fine with this. This is not the right way to handle this.

Do it through legislation. Don't dismantle the system by intentionally sabotaging it and putting millions of people's health and lives at risk.

It's just creating confusion and instability in the Health Care market, and it is going to hurt real Americans.

Subsidies like Medicare? That is only funded one third by its recipients. The difference is the seniors vote and Republicans are terrified of them. Why should one demographic be treated better than the rest? Because they vote. Right now, Trump and the Republican Party went on record to show how much they are willing to hurt people in order to declare victory against the previous black president. They really have that much hate. We'll see if the states prevail.

He tried. Several times. But Democrats blocked him again and again, with a unanimous vote of 48 Democrats (plus a few RINOs) voting NO.

Now he's doing what he has to, using the same methods his predecessor did: Executive Orders.

Don't like it? Call your Democrat senator and tell him to change his vote.

Then keep trying! Maybe include the Democrats in the process if you want them to vote "yay". Just a thought?????

Like how the original ACA included the Republican's in the process, and included many of their amendments.

These Republican-backed repeal-and-replace efforts have not included any Democrats in the process. That is disgraceful - especially if you want to use the Democrats as the scapegoat for why these plans failed.

I wonder if Trump's healthcare EO will ever be implemeted if it's tied up in the courts. Some radio stations were saying it couldn't be in force before 2019. If Obamacare is defunded and there's no alternative in place (even if it's substandard insurance) alot of people are going to end up between a rock and a hard place, insurance-wise in 2018. Not good for Mitch and his Merry Men!

Without that subsidy the costs are rediculous. I dont see a way out of this promise from him that will end well.
