Trump is now working up a tweet-storm aimed at Michael Moore, who had a limited engagement one-man show on Broadway.

Here's the thing:

First, there's Trump's lie that it was forced to close. No. It always had an end-date. Moore is, after all, not an actor.

But the main point is that Moore's show has been running for several months - but Trump waited until after it closed to comment. Because he knew very well that for anything he said, Moore would likely incorporate it into the show. And he was too chicken to risk that. My only surprise is that he didn't stoop to the usual low-level taunts about Moore's appearance.

I cannot figure out why Trump would go off on Michael Moore about a Broadway show when he is in the middle of many more serious issues. He really does have acute ADD or is simply nuts.

And why someone like Moore, who is going to respond with a knife twist?

"..Moore went on to rip Trump, saying he is not aware that a "U.S. service member was killed & 6 injured in our never-ending war in Afghanistan."

I think majority of people would find Trump's tweet to be funny. Trump won the election in large part because a significant number of people find him funny.

Did Moore call out Obama for continuing the wars as well?

Moore didn't call out Trump for 'continuing the wars". He called out Trump for seemingly to care more about a Broadway play than our dead servicemen and women.

I mean, Trump tweets certainly do give us insight into what he spends his time thinking about.

^^^^ This is really the point. Why the Hell is the President of the United States wasting time getting involved with something that does nothing for the people who hired him ? He has jobs, healthcare, North Korea, ISIS, etc, etc to deal with, and he has to get down in the mud and make childish comments about something that he should totally ignore.

And Trumpees wonder why we call Trump and idiot. He IS an idiot.

Trump basically always responds to critics. That is one of his core values. He has stayed true to himself as president.

What people are truly mad about is that his response is persuasive, not that he responds. Michael Moore isn't popular with the type of voters that swing elections so making fun of him is a good thing for Trump to do.

Campaigning and governing are two different things.
